I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW). My therapeutic approach comes from a place of empathy, support and collaboration. It also comes from a place of experience, having traveled down the road of therapy starting in my early 20's. I have experienced first hand the power of gaining insight coupled with removing shame and self-judgement. I believe we all have an inner wisdom and know ourselves best. I am here as a partner to help you tap into your strengths and live the life that you so desire.
Making life transitions, moving through trauma or addiction, relationship issues or figuring out how to feel better doesn't have to be hard or done alone. I am here to partner with you, as you go through this process and I promise you will uncover the answers within yourself all while creating action toward change and increased enlightenment.
Therapy isn’t one-size-fits-all. Over the years, I’ve trained in several powerful approaches that help people heal, grow, and break free from limiting patterns. Rather than sticking to just one method, I blend different techniques based on what feels most helpful for you. My goal is to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where we work together to uncover insights, process emotions, and create lasting change.
Here are some of the key approaches I integrate into my work:
At its core, AEDP helps people move through emotional pain and trauma by tapping into the brain’s natural ability to heal. This approach focuses on building secure relationships (both with yourself and others), allowing you to process emotions in a way that leads to lasting change. Rather than staying stuck in old patterns, AEDP helps you access inner strengths and resilience that have been there all along—you just may not have been able to fully connect with them yet.
If past experiences are holding you back—whether it's trauma, anxiety, or self-doubt—EMDR is a powerful way to shift how those memories affect you. By using specific techniques to help the brain “reprocess” distressing experiences, EMDR reduces their emotional charge, so they no longer have the same grip on your life. Research has shown that EMDR can help people experience relief much faster than traditional talk therapy alone.
We all have different “parts” of ourselves—the part that feels confident, the part that worries, the part that criticizes, the part that wants to hide. IFS helps us understand these parts not as problems, but as protective forces trying to help us (even if their methods aren’t always productive). Instead of fighting against these parts, we work with them to create more balance and self-compassion. This approach is especially helpful for anyone who struggles with self-judgment, inner conflict, or feeling stuck in repeating patterns.
I bring in other somatic (body-based) and attachment-focused techniques as well, always adapting to what feels most helpful for you. Whether you're looking to process past experiences, feel more grounded in the present, or move forward with greater clarity and confidence, we’ll find an approach that works for you.
